SUN VALLEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL  is in need of volunteer partners for the implementation of the 2021 Brigada Pagbasa Program.

Brigada Pagbasa partners can be one the following:

  1. Volunteer Tutor

Task / Responsibilities

  • Participates in the orientation and training on Brigada Pagbasa 
  • Conducts reading-related teaching and learning sessions.
  1. Volunteer Reader

Tasks/responsibilities

  • Participates in the orientation and training on Brigada Pagbasa 
  • Conducts storytelling activities 
  • Facilitates reading session
  1. Book Donor

Tasks/Responsibilities

  • Participates in the orientation and training on Brigada Pagbasa 
  • Donates storybooks and other reading materials to schools 
  • Donates printing materials (bond paper, ink, folders, etc.) for the production of reading materials
  1. Support 

Tasks/Responsibilities

  • Participates in the orientation and training on Brigada Pagbasa 
  • Provides supports for the implementation of Brigada Pagbasa in financial assistance, food/snacks, hygiene kits, and other forms of assistance to children, teachers, and volunteers.

All volunteers will receive a Certificate of Recognition/Appreciation. Volunteer tutors will be given a Certificate of Teaching Experience as a contribution to Brigada Pagbasa that can be used when applying for Teacher I item.
